The Zillertal is particularly easy to explore on an e-bike. Down in the valley, you ride along at a fast pace and marvel at the beautiful colours of the valley. You can then head uphill with the support of the e-bike. Choose a tour to suit your ability and fitness level. The choice will leave you breathless, as will the breath-taking views!
On the 1,300 km of bike trails in the Zillertal, everyone is sure to find a favourite route. Whether on leisurely cycle paths or action-packed bike tours, whether on a mountain bike or an e-bike, the magnificent natural scenery of the Zillertal inspires everyone who takes pleasure in impressive panoramas, as well as awaking the biker spirit in you.
The impressive mountain panorama surrounding the hotel "das Alois" will take your breath away, not the effort of cycling! With an e-bike previously unreachable destinations become within easy reach. That is why we love the new motor-assisted bikes so much! They spur us on to new sporting achievements, as we are always reaching for new heights on our e-bikes.
4 x per week we organise intermediate to challenging e-bike tours with our guests, for example to the Brandalm or the Wanglalm.
You can either bring your own e-bike or hire one from one of the nearby sports shops. We will of course adapt the level of difficulty of the tour to suite the participants.

The Zillertal – bike route is a picturesque path, running alongside the River Ziller, with its clear water, it stretches over 30 kilometres from Strass to Mayrhofen. This bike route is ideal for newcomers and families, it is generally flat.
The starting point is in Hippach close to the Zillerbrücke. The route takes you through charming villages, through lush countryside and offers spectacular views of the surrounding Alps. For a relaxing return journey the option of the Zillertal train is available, running parallel to the route.
Along the bike route are playgrounds, refreshing swimming lakes and inviting refreshment opportunities, to perfectly round-off your outing.
The Zillertaler Höhenstraße is a breath-taking Alpine road that winds its way through the majestic mountain landscape of the Zillertal. On a challenging road bike or a mountain bike ride, it offers fascinating panoramic views of the Tux, Kitzbühel and Zillertal mountains.
The starting point in Hippach leads over steep climbs past idyllic Alpine inns to the toll station at 2000 metres above sea level in Melchboden
With several refreshment stops along the way and the choice of descents to Zell or Kaltenbach, the Zillertaler Höhenstraße offers an unforgettable ride through the alpine beauty of Tyrol.
